Using our own in house PCB prototyping tools we can rapidly prototype concepts without dependence on external manufacturing scheduling and lead times. There are many very fast and high quality prototype manufacturing companies and we normally use them. But sometimes we need to build our own boards immediately to de-risk a part of a design or ensure we meet very tight customer deadlines.  We are engineers not manufacturers but we and our customers do benefit from the fact that if needed we can build what we design.
